Studio Practice

Spatial gesture and architectural form

Founded by designer Dvora Lehman to treat millinery as an architectural medium rather than period dress, our studio explores the balance between material tension and negative space.

Material Discipline

Shaping raw felt over lime wood

Each piece takes form across custom wooden blocks carved by hand in the studio. Sourcing focuses exclusively on patinated rabbit felt, archival sinamay straw, and unembellished raw silks that hold structural memory.

Without conventional ornamentation, the silhouette relies entirely on tension, steam-molding, and precise hand-stitching to achieve its enduring balance.
